The seller is original owner of this great sailboat built in 1999. She has been outfitted in a manner which has served well in coastal sailing from New York to Florida but most of her time has been spent in the low-salinity upper Chesapeake Bay. She has been meticulously cared for and been hauled and stored dry every winter except one. Her hull has never had any blisters, she has beautiful woodwork inside and out, and has an excellent Yanmar diesel that is dependable and smooth running as can be.
She has 13 opening side ports (six on each side and one in the cockpit), 7 hatches up above, plus 4 dorade air scoops. In addition, owner had three Sunbrella deck sunshield panels designed and made which provide sun coverage for about 75% of the topside. The B&G autopilot has operated flawlessly in all sea conditions ever encountered and owner has recently installed a remote control to allow standing away from the wheel, such as in the companionway, to operate the boat while fully protected from the rain or cold.
The SeaFrost refrigeration system has built in redundancy allowing for its predominant use while underway utilizing an engine-mounted compressor, with a separate 110 volt compressor for use while plugged in at a dock. The boat also has a powerful bow thruster (new 2012), a wind generator and an SSB radio
